Joseph A. Hajnas turned a love of art, botany, and horticulture into a vocation in landscape architecture. He has served as a visiting professor / lecturer at West Virginia University on various occasions since 1974. He is a charter member of the Little Sewickley Creek Watershed Association and a board member of the Allegheny County Penn State Extension Service. Joe served with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Germany. In addition, he is a long –time gardening expert guest on KDKA Radio and the Pittsburgh Cable News Channel.
Joseph Hajnas Associates, Inc. (JHA) is comprised of Landscape Architects and Planners registered in the states of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio and has provided Landscape Architecture services since 1955.
